Trilogy Search Partners Update March 2022

At Trilogy, our mission is to partner with each search fund entrepreneur in finding, acquiring, and successfully operating a small business. Our vision is that entrepreneurs have access to world-class investing and operating support, leading to successful acquisitions and outstanding operating outcomes.  We’ve built our investing and operating teams behind these principles, and we’re pleased to announce three new team members in early 2022.

Dylan Rebois joins us from McKinsey & Company as a Vice President on our investing team. At McKinsey, Dylan served clients across a range of industries, including in the private equity practice. He is also a combat medic in the National Guard. We believe Dylan’s service orientation, intellectual curiosity, and rigorous problem solving approach will be an asset to searchers and operators, and we’re thrilled to have him join our Bellevue-based team. You can reach him at dylan@trilogy-search.com.

Jennifer Gehrt is the co-founder of Communique PR, a public relations and strategic communications firm serving national and global clients. Jennifer joins our group of affiliated Operating Executives with a focus on communications, and has already been a resource and counselor for businesses in the Trilogy portfolio. We believe bringing Jennifer to the team furthers our mission of providing world-class operating resources to search-fund scale businesses. You can reach her at jennifer@trilogy-search.com.

Aaron Marks joins the group as an Operating Executive in information technology. Aaron is the founder and CEO of Turnpoint, a managed service provider serving local and national clients in all aspects of IT operations and security. Aaron provides counsel to searchers during diligence and post-acquisition, with a focus on cyber security and IT best practices in the small business context. We often say that ‘every business is a technology business’ and we feel fortunate to have Aaron join Kevin Knoepp as key technical resources on our team. He is also the third ‘Aaron’ (counting Erin Denney) and so has helped us think through tricky username convention dilemmas. You can reach him at aaron.marks@trilogy-search.com.

2021 was a productive year in search funds, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with entrepreneurs, operators, and our valued co-investors to drive successful outcomes. We’re always happy to chat and can be reached at info@trilogy-search.com.
