Bruce Carmedelle

Operating Executive (CFO)

Bruce provides hands-on support in accounting and finance after a transaction has closed as a fractional or interim CFO. A typical assignment includes assessing the existing accounting system and staff and often converting from cash basis to accrual accounting. Initiating reliable financial reporting, budgets and KPI’s to help manage the company and inform investors is an important early objective. Prior to establishing his own consulting practice, Bruce has worked as a CFO for both private and public companies from tech startups to small/medium size established companies. That includes a five-year stint as the CFO for a professional cycling team in Europe. Bruce has a BS in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and became a CPA (inactive) while working for PWC in Colorado.

Bruce and his wife Cathy live just north of San Francisco. He is a passionate cyclist, enjoys hiking in the hills and is a big SF Giants fan.

“I enjoy working with search fund entrepreneurs soon after their acquisition closes to help them organize and focus the accounting and finance functions. Learning about their business and their plans and how I can provide value is very rewarding. Getting to know the searcher’s journey to becoming a CEO is always fascinating and part of getting to know them. I love the caliber, character and personality of the Trilogy search CEO’s, we have fun working things out together.”
