Dylan joined Trilogy after working as a consultant at McKinsey & Co and works out of the firm’s office in Mercer Island, Washington. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Maryland and received master’s degrees in energy systems engineering and environmental management from Imperial College London and the University of Oxford. He serves on the boards of Spivey Services, Sterling Labs, TrueMedIT, BSU, and is an observer at Bridge Insure.

With the beauty of the Pacific Northwest close at hand, Dylan enjoys regular hikes in the Cascades and is always game for something outdoors. Any free time not sunk into DIY home improvement will find him drawing or with a board game. Dylan recently left the US Army, where he served part time as a combat medic, and lives in Seattle with his wife, two cats, and a dog.

“Raising and running a search fund is a thrilling, intimidating, and rewarding ride. The emotional range of the experience is vast: from the thrill of discovering new industries to the disappointment of watching a deal lapse to the gratification of closing on another—all before you’re even the CEO. I’m humbled and inspired by the entrepreneurs we work with, and consistently grateful for the chance to play a meaningful part in these extraordinary journeys.”
