“Raising and running a search fund is a thrilling, intimidating, and rewarding journey. From the sense of discovery after scanning an enormous range of industries and business models to find the perfect company, through the excitement (and disappointments) of diligence and negotiations, to the satisfaction of closing a deal and finishing the first day as CEO, the search process serves up experiences that would be highlights in anyone’s career. Then, there’s the work of running a company. I’m humbled and inspired by the entrepreneurs we work with, and consistently grateful for the chance to contribute perspective, resources, and capital to support the growing momentum of this industry.”

Recently transplanted to Seattle from his native Washington, D.C., Dylan is thrilled to have the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest close at hand. He will embarrass himself in any outdoor sport, took up charcoal drawing because it was (marginally) cheaper than buying real art, and invests uncountable hours watching YouTube videos about cosmology, quantum mechanics, and DIY home projects.
